Larvae in Agar plates Both 5% Sheep's Blood and Tryptic & A PacMan Eating staph

Hello

With both 5% sheep's blood and Tryptic Agar plates.

In both cases they were new plates from Hardy and I wore gloves when I did them.

And this is the 2nd time this has happened 1 st time I was doing some test plates for staph because I have these sore’s / lesions that take months to heal some several months.

And in 1 of the plates I had a specimen of what looked like to be a whitish grape like mass that was in my TP after a bowel movement and I had blood prior also and have been getting bad abdomen pains for month so I thought it was odd.

Well after 6 days the larvae appeared and they look the same as your case 510 so I told my doctor what I did and he said “I should go to the Mayo Clinic” I live in Minneapolis Kansas and they are in Minnesota so he said I could drive. I have been telling him about that ab pain and how these scalp and leg and side sore don’t heal.

So I contacted another Dr on the 16th of Aug and brought the plates and they had me do a stool sample which was on the 17th I had also done plates from the sample and also from you know where with sterile swabs and the ones done on the 16th also shows these larvae I have videos of them and pictures in an album of what I believe is staph.

I have been searching for a Bio forum for some time and I just came upon your case 510.

I realize you can’t give official medical advice and I’m in no way asking for that. But this larvae ling sort of worries me. And so does the staph.

So in your opinion what could this be and should I be worried? The lesion’s have been occurring for the past 10-13 years mainly on my scalp.

From what I read the larvae could be evo cont  the dishes were covered upon doing the swab. And the swab from the 17th hasn’t shown any yet perhaps tomorrow

I thanks you in advance Austin
